An early-19th century Italian hardstone and gold-mounted snuff box,
also with French control marks, circa 1820,
rectangular form, the hinged cover set with four bloodstone panels and with panels of moss agate, the base with a blue/green agate panel and smaller panels of moss agate, length 7.2cm, approx gross weight including agate panels 155g.
Provenance: A Private Collection.
