Bel is a self taught artist based in Sheffield where they create playful and energetic abstract paintings. Using experimental mark making their work consists of many layers and textures. Within these layers, Bel's paintings hold a lot of emotions. Sometimes built slowly over years and at other times captured in a few hours. Painting in stolen moments around the commitments of family life, Bel paints to let go, to process and to remember.
