A CHINESE BRONZE 'QILIN' MIRROR STAND
MING DYNASTY

The recumbent horned beast with its head raised and turned to the rear, bearing a crescent-form receptacle on its back, with a scrolling cloud panel to the front, mounted with a later circular mirror, with a paper label for the Finer Collection 'CB 14', 721g, 16 cm.
