A COLLECTION OF 19TH CENTURY JEWELLERY, comprising: a Victorian enamel and diamond mourning pendant, of locket design decorated with black enamel, the front centred with a plaque set with rose-cut diamonds between bands of blue enamel, opening to reveal two glazed hairwork compartments, in gold, length 4cm, gross weight 19.4g; a small Victorian diamond, ruby and pearl insect brooch, centred with a stylised fly between two pearls, its body set with rose-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds and ruby-set eyes, in silver and gold, pearls untested, width 3.5cm, gross weight 3.5g, one ruby eye missing; a Victorian hairwork mourning set, comprising a pair of earrings and a brooch, each of oval design with a reticulated hairwork ground and ropetwist gold decoration, the brooch with a memorial inscription to the reverse dated 1866, in gold, earrings with screw fittings, earring length 2.7cm, brooch width 3.2cm, total gross weight 8.2g; a Victorian hairwork brooch, designed as a bow of reticulated hairwork, centred with a gold mount inscribed 'Clara', width 6cm, gross weight 2.3g; a Victorian gold pendant, centred with a glazed hairwork compartment, initialled 'S.G' to the reverse, length 3.5cm, gross weight 4.3g; a Victorian orange stone solitaire ring, set in gold, stamped 10k, size G, gross weight 3.0g; an early 19th century doublet and seed pearl ring, within a seed pearl border set in gold, size H, gross weight 3.5g, three seed pearls missing; and a tourmaline and seed pearl pendant, the circular-cut tourmaline below a scrolling mount set with two seed pearls, in gold, to a silver gilt chain, pendant length 2.7cm, pendant gross weight 0.7g
