A large George III silver tankard,
by Whipham & Wright, London circa 1766,
baluster form, domed hinged cover with a pierced scroll thumbpiece, engraved armorial to the body and crest to the cover, on a circular foot, height 24.5cm, approx. weight 43.7oz.
The armorial is that of Gilchrist.
