FOUR TRANSFER PRINTED COMMEMORATIVE NURSERY OR CHILD'S PLATES
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
comprising: one with a portrait titled 'Marquis of Anglesea K.G.' inside a border moulded with birds and insects, another by Stevenson with a portrait inscribed 'M. Wood Esqr M.P. twice Lord Mayor of London Who patriotically gave up his House to her Majesty Queen Caroline, Upon her arrival in London on the 6th June 1820', with an impressed factory mark, one red printed with a rhyme titled 'Long Live Caroline Queen of England', the fourth printed with Britannia mourning above the inscription 'To the Memory of Her Royal Highness the Princess Charlotte of Wales and Saxe Cobourg who died Novr. 6th 1817' (4)
