A silver-gilt mounted coral needle case,
unmarked, probably 18th century, Sicilian,
shaped cylindrical form, the hinged cover with four kneeling putti holding two hearts, the body with foliate spiral decoration and carved with two snakes, silver-gilt finial, length 10cm.
