A TIBETAN GILT LACQUERED-COPPER FIGURE OF VAJRABHAIRAVA AND VAJRAVETALI
18TH CENTURY
The nine-headed yidam and consort striding in pratyalidha trampling on animals including geese and bulls and prostrate figures, the primary hands wrapped around his consort holding a kartika and kapala, with the other radiating arms holding various implements, raised on a double-lotus throne, 322g, 8.5cm.
