THREE JAPANESE IRO-NABESHIMA PIECES BY THE IMAEMON WORKSHOP
HEISEI ERA, 20TH/21ST CENTURY
Including two boxes and covers, one decorated with peony and clouds in gilt on an iron-red ground, the other painted with flower sprays in polychrome enamels, both signed Imaemon in overglaze blue enamel on the base, each with a tomobako (wood box) inscribed Hizen Arita and Imaemon with a red seal for Imaemon Tōen; together with a napkin ring decorated with a spinning top, signed Imaemon in underglaze blue, with a tomobako inscribed iro-e koma-e nafukin ringu (polychrome napkin with spinning top decoration) and Jūsandai Imaemon (Imaemon XIII) with a red seal for Imaemon, 9.5cm max.
