FOUR JAPANESE BRONZE PIECES
MEIJI AND LATER, 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY
The first a kōrō, the incense burner with a waisted body and a cover with five circular apertures, signed Yasuki underneath, in a tomobako (wood box) inscribed Seido suehiro kōrō (bronze incense burner of waisted shape) and signed Yasuki; the second, another kōrō shaped as a chrysanthemum flower, signed Shigetani Kameaki; the third a circular box and cover, signed Nagakuni for Fujimoto Nagakuni; and a pear-shaped vase with scroll decoration in openwork, 18.2cm max.
