A COLLECTION OF FIVE JAPANESE BRONZE VASES
SHŌWA/HEISEI, 20TH CENTURY
Of various sizes and shapes, the first by Osumi Isao (1940-2010), marked, with a tomobako (wood boxes) signed and sealed Isao; the second by Inoue Junkei (b.1930), marked, its tomobako signed and sealed Junkei; the third, possibly by Emi Homi (dates unknown), signed Homi on the base and on the tomobako; the fourth by Aida Tomiyasu (1901-1987), both the base and tomobako signed Tomiyasu; the last by Nakatani Yoshio, with an inscribed tomobako; 24.2cm max.
