A JAPANESE ZUSHI (PORTABLE SHRINE) WITH THE FUDŌ SANZON (TRIAD)
EDO PERIOD, 17TH/18TH CENTURY
Enclosing the central wood figure of Fudō Myō-ō, the Immovable Wisdom King standing on a rocky outcrop with flames behind him; the doors painted with his two primary boy attendants, Seitaka Dōji with his red skin and Kongara Dōji as a youth; together with a silk bag, 15cm. (2)
