A Japanese kakejiku (hanging scroll painting), ink and colour on paper, with a long poem reading as 'Two blind men sharing a straw hat, Shouldering a biwa (lute) on their backs, Huddled in their robes to escape the rain, Rushing into the house of Tao'; together with a tomobako (wood box); signed Hanabusa Itchō and sealed Hokusōō (Old Man of the North Window) and Kyūkyōan; 52cm x 23.5cm.
