A tortoiseshell box, the segmented top centred a vacant plaque, with inlaid metal stringing, the interior with a later lift-out tray, 4.5in (11cm) h, 7.75in (20cm) w, 5.5in (14cm) d. Chips to edges, damage to one hinge, escutcheon and feet missing.
