Three medals (assorted): Crimea 1854-56, no clasp (JN. WENSLEY. ORD. HMS. BELLEROPHON.), engraved in serif capitals, patchy toning, about very fine; Royal Naval Long Service and Good Conduct, Victoria (GEO. WM HY NEILL, SGT 10TH CO R.M.L.I.), very fine; Russian: Medal of St George for Bravery, 4th Class, silver, reverse numbered 1272821, good very fine. [3]

George William Henry Neill was born in Hobart, Tasmania, on the 4th of September 1855. He enlisted in London on the 4th of September 1874, re-engaged on the 22nd of May 1883, and was awarded the L.S.G.C. Medal in November 1884.
