Wilkinson Sword: a Battle of Britain commemorative sword, double-edged blade 33.5 in., one side etched with representations of air crew and ground personnel under the inscription 'DEDICATED TO 'THE FEW' AND TO THE MANY WHO HELPED MAKE VICTORY POSSIBLE', the other with a depiction of pilots scrambling to board their Spitfires; gilt-metal cross-guard in the form of an R.A.F. eagle, wooden two-handed grip, round pommel with wreath border and a portrait of Churchill to the centre; with wall-mounting display board.
