A Victorian silver inkstand,
by William Bateman, London 1839,
circular form, leaf and branch ring handle, mounted with a butterfly, with a central taperstick holder and a conical snuffer, and with two flower pen holders, with an unmarked silver-mounted glass inkwell, diameter 12.5cm, approx. weight 9.6oz.
