circular form, part-fluted decoration, hinged shell side handles, the pull-off cover mounted with a sturgeon finial, the interior with a gilded liner, on four mythical dolphin feet, diameter 17.2cm, in a fitted wooden Comyns box, approx. weight 50.2oz.
