worked in silk and cotton, with a hexagonal polychromatic field of various fabrics, enclosed by black borders, with a paper label inscribed 'Made out of pieces of dress of Harriet Eliza Wainwright of Hoe Place, Old Woking 1810-1894, Given me by Desmond Nairn....1938'
