TWO SMALL CHINESE BAMBOO CALLIGRAPHIC BRUSHPOTS, BITONG
LATE QING DYNASTY

One carved with precious things and bamboo and inscribed and lacquered with a poem signed Shixiang, the other with seven lines of calligraphy and signed Du Ruifeng, 14.3cm max. (2)

Provenance: from the collection of Dr John William Hawksley Grice OBE (1891–1976) and thence by descent.
