A large Samson model of 'The Music Lesson', after Chelsea, the young man teaching the girl to play the whistle, both seated on a tree stump and sheltered by a flowering bocage, with a dog and sheep at their bare feet, gold anchor mark and gilt Samson mark. Some restoration. 2nd half 19th century, 33cm.
