An Irish mahogany triple chair back settee, by M Butler & Co, Dublin, the eagles head top rails above a cartouche shaped splat with carved shells, tassels and grapes issuing feathered taloned legs, the uprights with carved foliage decoration, the scroll arms with birds head terminals on further scroll supports to a shaped front drop-in seat, the frame stamped 'M Butler & Co Dublin,' the frieze carved female and grotesque masks to leaf carved scroll legs with paw feet, 39.75in (101cm) h, 64.75in (164.5cm) w, 24.5in (62cm) d.
