An early 18th century Hanoverian dessert spoon with a plain moulded rattail, scratched initials 'D H', maker's mark only 'AS' in a heart shaped punch with a mullet*, unascribed c.1725, 0.5oz. *Although not identical, this maker's mark is similar to that of Anthony Semirot of Cork.
