A late 18th century canted oblong snuff box, with a pull-off mother of pearl mounted cover, the base pricked "C.v.d. O", struck with two marks "HW" and "GvH", unascribed, possibly Dutch/Dutch Colonial c.1800, 2.5in (6.5cm) long.
