Regimental Interest: A George III oblong salt, with a gadrooned rim, bracket feet, convex sides, engraved with the badge of the West Middlesex Regiment, centred by the number 57 with "Peninsular" above and "Albuhare" below, makers mark probably for John Edwards, London 1803, together with another George IV salt to match, makers mark partly worn ?A, London, 1825 and two fiddle salt spoons, engraved with the initial 'M' within a strap and buckle cartouch, by Charles Eley, London, 1825, the salts with gilt interiors, 3.2in (8cm), 5oz, (4).
