Two Madeira wine labels: a George III feather-edge 'gorget' label, pierced title, initialled 'E' on the reverse, maker's mark only, by Thomas Hyde, London c.1770; together with an early Victorian 'stamped' escutcheon with a large border of fruiting vines, shells and leaves, pierced title, maker's mark lost in piercing, London 1837.
