A George III nutmeg grater of plain oblong form with pricked and bright engraved borders, the base with a concealed, hinged cover, (opening for storage of nutmeg) the cover engraved with a crest, the initials 'C.G' and the motto 'FOR RIGHT', unmarked, Scottish provincial, c.1800, 2.5in (6.3cm) wide.
