A George III merit award in the form of an artist's palette, one side initialled 'EA' within an oak wreath; the other inscribed 'Reward of merit presented to Miss Eliza Ackland for her studious attention and improvement in drawing at Miss Grimani's Bridgewater House, Lec, Kent Christmas 1818.
