A 19th century gold egg form vinaigrette, with blue enamel foliate scroll decoration and pierced grille. Suspended from a gold chatelaine chain and clasp with blue enamel decoration. Probably French. Fitted green leather case. The vinaigrette 2cm high, 23.5cm long in total.
