An oyster veneered chest on stand, the segmented hinged top revealing a plush lined interior, the sides with engraved brass carrying handles, on a walnut base with spiral twist stretchered supports, early 18th century and later, 37in (94cm) h, 36in (91.2cm) w, 21.5in (54.6cm) d. Chest with later hinges, and lock, losses to veneer, crack to top.
