** A mid 18th century French, mounted, enamel snuff box, oblong, decorated on the sides, cover and base with gilt bordered vignettes of love birds, ho-ho birds and courting couples, in either rose or mauve hues, against a blue pelleted, white ground, maker's mark partially unclear, Paris 1753, 3.1in (8cm) long.
