A George III Irish mounted cowrie shell snuff box, maker's mark only 'IB', possibly for Joseph (John) Beauchamp* of Cork, c.1780, 2.6in (6.6cm) long. *Recorded as a Cork Silversmith and sent plate to the Dublin Assay Office in 1787.
