An early Victorian gold vinaigrette, in the form of a stylised, two handled pannier with drop rings, a rope-work foot, raised border scroll work heightened by engraved foliage and a shaped hinged cover with applied decoration, the grille pierced and engraved with floral scrolls, the base inscribed 'E. Turner', unmarked c.1850, 1.9in (4.8cm) long.
