A Charles I beaker, on a moulded rim foot with a flared rim, the sides engraved with three symmetrical scroll motifs, each centred with a thistle, below a narrow frieze of scrolling foliage, pricked initials 'T.G', maker's mark 'HB' [conjoined], London 1641, 5.1in (13cm) high, 8.5oz.
