Description
A William and Mary chinoiserie toilet mirror, with a wooden easel back, plain oblong with bevelled sides, flat-chased with fruiting foliage and ho-ho birds, with an applied fruiting leaf in each corner, the detachable cresting with a moulded scroll border and a flat-chased scene with native figures, birds, foliage and the central feature of a viaduct with towers above a small building, by Anthony Nelme, London 1690, 20.1in (51cm) high, 13.5in (34.4cm) wide.
