A French Empire style mahogany and gilt metal mounted bureau a gradin, the raised top of six drawers supported by caryatid 'Victory' figure supports, the base with an inset cloth writing surface above drawers, the sides with pull-out slides and chariot mounts on square tapering legs to paw feet, mid 19th century, 51.5in (130.9cm) h, 51in (129.5cm) w, 23.5in (59.6cm) d. Minor losses to mouldings.
