A late Victorian mahogany and marquetry inlaid breakfront library bookcase, the detachable cornice with a pierced swan neck pediment above a faux fluted frieze with marquetry rosettes above four astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the base with husks, swags and four panel doors decorated mythical winged beasts, scrolling foliage and fruiting cornucopia, enclosing shelves on bracket feet, 103in (261.5cm) h, 117in (297cm) w, 17in (43cm) d.
