Description
An early 19th century mahogany draughtman's cabinet, the moulded edge hinged top with a baize lined surface resting on hinged lopers, to a further baize lined hinged top revealing partitions and ink and pen partitions, the front with a false frieze drawer above a real drawer teak lined previously with divisions, above a pair of rectangular panel cupboard doors enclosing two slides (one missing), all locks replaced with Victorian brass locks, later brass knob handles on turned legs with later brass paw sabots, 32.25in (81.5cm) h, 26.25in (66.5cm) w, 14.75in (37.5cm) d. Repair to left front around loper and drawer.
