** A Chinese bamboo brushpot, deeply carved in relief with a pagoda, a bamboo grove and seven figures in various pursuits, two rocks inscribed with four characters, one possibly for the Mountain Retreat of Music of Bamboos, the other bears the maker's signature, 18th century or later, the hardwood applied rim with splits, 15cm.
