A near pair of Chelsea figures of a farm worker and his companion, he sharpening his scythe which he rests over his shoulder, she carrying a sheaf of corn over one arm and holding a staff in the other, both before flowering bocage and raised on small scrolled bases, gold anchor mark to each, c.1760-65, damages and restoration, 23cm.
