A large Scottish ebonised wood boardroom table possibly designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, elliptical form the four square legs decorated with inlaid tear drop motif unsigned table top 243 x 122cm, 77cm. high Literature Roger Billcliffe Charles Rennie Mackintosh, The Complete Furniture, Furniture Drawings and Interior Designs, John Murray page 231 for examples of Derngate furniture with similar inlaid decoration, and page 185 plate 1906.1 for an oval topped table from the Glasgow School of Art.
