A Coalport rectangular tray, with scroll handles and indented corners, painted with an oval panel depicting a young lady saved from a gang of brigands by a knight, by RF Abrahams, signed with initials on a lilac ground, gilt ampersand and a gilt inscription ' And that, unknowing what he did, He jumped amid a murdering band, And saved from outrage worse than death, The lady of the land. Love S.T.Coleridge' . Some good restoration. c.1860-65, 43.5cm.
