A large and imposing pair of S 'vases des the covers with scroll loop handles, the bodies applied with female busts and each painted with a panel of flowers and one of figures in romantic landscapes, on a richly gilded turquoise ground, enamel blue interlaced 'L's marks, 19th century, 41cm.
