Description
A rare Delft plate, painted in blue with Justice with her sword raised, standing upon a condemned figure beneath the motto 'Libertas populi', the powdered manganese border painted in blue with scrolling flowers and leaves, marked 'B' in blue, probably Bristol c.1740, 23cm.
