A William and Mary black lacquer chest, the moulded cornice above a cushion drawer and two short and three long graduated drawers, with raised chinoiserie decoration with figures in landscapes with buildings, the sides with flowers, formerly on a stand, 35.25in (89.4cm) h, 40.75in (103.2cm) w, 23in (58.2cm) d. Locks and escutcheons original, handles later, decoration worn.
