Description

A 19th century emerald and diamond bee brooch, the body formed with two emeralds, the wings pave set with small cushioned shaped diamonds, cabochon ruby eyes, set in silver and gold, brooch mount probably later, fitted case with crown to the cover, the brooch 2cm wide. With hand written note stuck to the reverse stating that the brooch was a wedding gift, presented by Queen Charlotte.
