A Victorian lobed nutmeg grater, with fruit and leaves stamped in relief on the cover and base, hinging open, to reveal a hinged steel grater, engraved with a minute crest below the thumbpiece and a minute coronet above, maker's mark distorted, possibly Taylor and Perry or Hilliard and Thomason, Birmingham 1854, 1.6in (4.1cm).
