Description
An extremely rare George I/II Irish provincial tablespoon, Hanoverian with a pronounced rim and a plain rattail, initialled "HC", maker's mark only "W" [struck thrice], by either William and/or Joseph Wall, Kinsale, 1720-30, 7.9in (20cm) long, 1.5oz.
NB. A very similar spoon was sold in these rooms Lot 37 on 28th June 2005 and the owners initials were "VC" & "EC".
