City of London, gold and enamel Badge of Office, of extended quatrefoil shape, set on crossed Mace and Sword, the enamelled arms applied, personal arms and motto, LABOR VINCIT ESTO NEC TIMOR ET JUSTUS, above the arms and supporters of the City, with below, smaller shields of the Merchant Taylors' Company and County of Essex, c. 1900, 122 x 101mm, suspender fitted to reverse, gross weight approx 6.5oz.
