Dr Christopher Dresser: a rare late Victorian teapot and matching milk jug, globular, on three feet with curved handles, the teapot with a straight spout, flat, hinged cover and button finial, hallmarked by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1882, incuse model no on teapot 2273 N30 - scratchweight "12-9", incuse model no on jug 2273 N32 - scratchweight "3-15" both also with incuse registered design lozenge and Dresser's stamped facsimile signature.
